Hello, Cheekys! This month I'm doing Ann Summers (www.annsummers.com) and it's mmm… good! Well, as good as viewing a sex toy site can be. Yes, I know that I reviewed my absolute favorite sex toy site, www.adameve.com, last month, but this site is different.

Cooking for the Kitchen Illiterate
Cooking for the Kitchen Illiterate: Tales of a not-so-great Chef by Jade Buchanan Happy May!! This is an extra special month for me, since it's my birthday month! And no, I'm not telling how old I am!
Trying to figure out this month's cooking challenge was actually pretty easy. Having just come back from the Romantic Times Convention where I was able to hang out with some great authors and readers, I was in a celebratory mood. Add in the fact that I wanted to make something special for my birthday, and I knew I needed to find a recipe with single malt scotch. I finally settled on a nice and simple recipe for salad dressing.

No Country For Old Men Isabella Jordan Directed by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen. Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Woody Harrelson, Kelly Macdonald, and more.
What happens when a hunter finds dead bodies, a stash of heroin, and a couple million dollars in cash? A simple premise right? Yet somehow the creators of this movie took such a simple plot and made it extraordinary. It went on to be this year's Oscar winner for best picture. Read more...

Facts of Life by DaHeap A church's best friend? Fact: The stone walls of the old church in Nordingen in Germany contain millions of diamonds - the size of specs of dust. These were formed from molten rock, blasted from the Earth's surface when a meteorite crashed onto it 35 million years ago.

Gas vs Printer Ink
Thought you'd like to see just what we're up against, in perspective. The price of gas versus printer ink. All these examples do NOT simplify that gasoline is cheap; it just illustrates how outrageous some prices are. Compared with Gasoline... Think a gallon of gas is expensive? This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.
Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ... $10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 .$9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ..... $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ..... $10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ...... $33.60 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ... $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ....... . $25.42 per gallon
Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .....$84.48 per gallon
And this is the REAL KICKER... Evian water 9 oz $1.49..$21.19 per gallon! $21.19 for WATER and the buyers don't even know the source. (Evian spelled backwards is Naive.) Ever wonder why printers are so cheap?
So they have you hooked for the ink. Someone calculated the cost of the ink at... (you won't believe it... but it is true...) $5,200 a gal.
So, the next time you're at the pump,be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil or God forbid, printer ink! |
