Miranda Boson is a scientist raised by an aunt who believed in intellect over emotion. She knows something is missing from her life. After all, she's never even had a date, let alone a lover. When her aunt dies and leaves her a fortune, she jumps at the chance to do something unexpected and fun. She's delighted when Hot Spot Destinations books her on a fantasy vacation to Los Regalos.
When Miranda stumbles into the wrong section of town and is nearly mugged, Simon rescues her. Their attraction is undeniable. Miranda is hoping for an affair to remember. What she doesn't know is that Simon adores her body, but it's her purity that really turns him on. There's nothing sexier to a demon than an innocent soul begging to be corrupted. And all it takes to start the hellfires burning is a real virgin's kiss...
I just love when Changeling Press puts together multi-author series! I'm slowly collecting all of them and quite enjoying exploring this fantastic city along with some memorable characters.
Virgin's Kiss is a great addition to this series and I really enjoyed Michele Bardley's writing. Getting to know Miranda Boson I could feel for her and understand why she would leap at the opportunity to partake in this one of a kind vacation. Who wouldn't want to take a few days to escape from reality, especially if it were like Miranda's? And what an escape Los Regalos offers her!
Simon is a great character. He's sexy, a bit naughty, and oh so full of ideas. The scenes between these two are scorching hot and the build up - let's just say, dinner was quite an appetizer for things to come.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Ms. Bardsley's work and would love to see more stories set in this world.
