Jack-O-Lantern: Lady in White

by Elizabeth Jewell

From Changeling Press site:
Cam has been hunting malevolent spirits for a long time, sending them back to the afterlife where they belong. So far, he's never had sex with one.

But there's a first time for everything. And if he's lucky, he might even live through it.

I wanted to get an early start on my Halloween reading again this year and thought I'd grab up one of Changeling Press' last year's offerings. There was quite a selection in the Jack-O-Lanterns but it had been a while since I'd read anything by Elizabeth Jewell and I've been missing her storytelling

I love a good ghost story, especially one with a familiar feel to them. I really enjoyed how Ms. Jewell took something familiar and made it her own. The addition of sex (and the power play that results) into this ghost story was a great one and really upped the tension in the tale as Cam fights for his life.

Ms. Jewell did a fantastic job with keeping me guessing what was going to happen in her take on the lady in white story. She also did an awesome job of making me want to jump back in to her writing and her worlds. Thank you, Ms. Jewell.
