Honey in our Mouth by Mary Winter
"The tantras are first and foremost…teachings designed to aid spiritual discipline. Our true nature is always with us. It is like honey in our mouth. Yet, out of ignorance we continually look for it outside ourselves. Tantra teaches us to enjoy the sweet-tasting honey that is already on our tongue by enhancing our awareness." - Tantra The Path of Ecstasy by Georg Feuerstein, pg 46 Read more...

friends who fall in love, werewolves/vampires looking for their
perfect mate or some variation thereof? Read more...

I love my job...
by Margaret RileyI love my job... edition number... errr... I've lost track but it's been a while. Why? Well, system overload? I haven't really taken
the time to just READ for pleasure for a while. In fact I usually try not to. I
do the line edits from the ass end of the book backward so I won't be
tempted to forget I'm WORKING here. I love our books, and I do read them again
AFTER the line edits, but by then I don't really have time to post much.
Sometimes no matter how hard I try a books pulls me out of that
professional, editor, type mode. Alice Gaines' One Owner, Lady Driven is just such a book.
Why? Well, it starts with a motorcycle. Not just any motorcycle. The
motorcycle. The crown jewel of motorcycles. A motorcycle so perfect it might have
been built just for Claire. Claire is a woman I can identify very closely with.
The driven dedicated CEO of a large company, she has only one chink in her
armor -- a love of motorcycles. And THIS one -- well he's different. She also
has a weakness for one man -- a man whose entire existence is focused on her
well-being. A man she thinks isn't real. And he isn't -- exactly. He's
something more than human. He's also her motorcycle.
I've read a lot of shapeshifters -- and written my share -- I do love my
shapeshifters. But never have I read a tale of a shapeshifting motorcycle. It
takes something pretty extraordinary these days to make me go "Wow, I never
thought of that!" followed shortly by "Damn, what a hot concept!" Not to mention
the man he turns into is soo completely scrumptious -- and just as willful
as the motorcycle.

Facts of Life by DaHeap Family Problems No poet came from a more eccentric family than did Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809-92), the poet laureate of Victorian Britain. His father , a parson in Lincolnshire, England, terrified the neighborhood and was once barely restrained from murdering his son Frederick with a gun and a knife. Of the parson's 12 children, two were insane, one was a drug addict, one was an alcoholic, one was subject to outbursts of rage almost as bad as the father's, and all had bouts of depression alternating with various forms of religious mania.
Despite this background, Tennyson produced some of the most popular poems of the 19th century. The included The Charge of The Light Brigade and The Idylls of The King, which was based on the legend of King Arthur. His masterpiece, In Memoriam, was written about the death of his fellow poet and close friend Arthur Hallam, who had been engaged to Tennyson's sister Emily.
