| Oh Carnal One
Halloween is here! Sadly, for me, it doesn't mean a Snickers bar and some kids dressed up in cute costumes anymore… Welcome to the October edition of Oh Carnal One. Not much has changed since last month. The e-mails just keep getting nuttier and I have a viable excuse to drink a hot toddy and call it apple cider so the kids don't laugh and call me a drunk. Diary of a Mad Cat
Friday Night Lament: Fuzzball held hostage 7*sniff*
Woe, oh woe. How much lower can I sink, kits and kittens? How much more degradation can I endure? Yes, you read right. As hard as it is to believe, my mom took the batteries from my Robomouse and fed them to my new friend the Jack Rabbit. I'm not really sure why I call him "my friend." I haven't got to play with him or anything since mom took him into the computer room while reading those infernal Changeling Books. Read more...

Facts of Life World's Largest Library by DaHeap The World's largest library in Washington, D.C. rose from the ashes of its predecessor. When British troops set fire to the American capital in 1814, they burned almost every book in the government's library. But a former president, Thomas Jefferson, then donated 6,487 of his own books to start the present Library of Congress.
The huge library now contains more than 20 million books, 10 million prints and photographs, and 4 million atlases and maps. They are housed in three buildings, with 64 acres of floor space and 530 miles of shelving. The library is still growing and is running out of space. Reader's Digest Book of Facts, 1987

From the Changeling Press site:
"I talked to a man who says you blew up a bar in Texas."
Miss July. Not your ordinary stalker. Who is she? She knows too much. Talks too much. Horn can't afford that. Not in his line of work. Can't afford the distraction she offers. Can't afford to trust her. Can't afford to love her. Read more...
